MMK to produce pipes for major pipelines

The chairman of Russian steelmaker Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK), Mr. Viktor Rashnikov, has stated that by 2009 the company will have installed all the necessary capacity required for the production of large diameter pipes for major gas pipeline projects. MMK previously announced that in the context of increasing its capacity it is to build a mill-5000.
