Russian steel producer Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) has stated that it has mastered reinforcing bar production from At800 steel grade.
According to the company's statement, such bars are characterized by high strength, plasticity and viscosity. They are widely used in construction for reinforcement of concrete components and structures, including complex stable structures, meant for permanent high dynamic stress.
This year, within the framework of an innovative order, the company produced 435 mt of bars with nominal diameters of 12, 14 and 16 mm. The products have been shipped to customers in the Novosibirsk region, in Bashkortostan Republic and Kazakhstan.
