The Russian steel producer Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) has announced the conclusion of a gas supply agreement with Chelyabinskperiongas, a subsidiary of Gazprom.

The duration of the agreement is five years, during which MMK will be guaranteed stable supplies of gas at agreed volumes and price.

The new agreement is in line with MMK's strategic policy of establishing long-term partnerships with providers of key raw material resources necessary for the mill's functioning.

In addition, MMK and Gazprom also concluded an agreement for the further strengthening of the partnership between companies.
