Mittal Steel Kryviy Rih reports rise in H1 financial results

Mittal Steel Kryviy Rih, Ukrainian subsidiary of the world's largest steel maker Mittal Steel, reported that the company's net income from sales increased 16 percent year on year to UAH 6.405 billion (approx. $1.272 billion) in the first half of 2006. The plant's EBIDTA rose 31.8 percent to UHA 1.552 million (approx. $308,242) during the same period.
