Mittal Steel Kryviy Rih production in January-July

According to preliminary data, in January-July of 2006, Mittal Steel Kryviy Rih, Ukrainian subsidiary of Mittal Steel, produced 3.97 million metric tons of finished steel products, up 14.6 percent, 4.34 million metric tons of crude steel, up 10.3 percent, 3.94 million metric tons of pig iron, up 13.3 percent and 6.6 million metric tons of agglomerate, up 18.4 percent compared to the same period of last year. In July, the enterprise produced 620,000 metric tons of finished steel products, 706,000 metric tons of crude steel, 607,000 metric tons of pig iron, and 975,000 metric tons of agglomerate.
