Mittal Steel Kriviy Rih raises output in Jan-Oct

During the January-October 2006 period, the Ukrainian steel producer Mittal Steel Kriviy Rih registered a 13.6 percent increase in finished steel products output, a 9.2 percent rise in crude steel production, a 9.9 percent increase in pig iron production and a 13.1 percent increase in agglomerate production year on year. The respective figures in metric tons were 5.7 million, 6.3 million, 5.6 million and 925,000. In October alone, the company produced 600,000 metric tons of finished steel products, 699,000 metric tons of crude steel, 586,000 metric tons of pig iron, and 925,000 metric tons of agglomerate.
