Mexico’s iron pellet output increases 29.1 percent in November

Mexican iron pellet output in November increased 29.1 percent, year­-on­-year, to 627,633 mt, the nation’s statistics agency, Inegi, said on Tuesday. Production rose nearly 2 percent in the month-on-­month analysis, from 616,286 mt in October.
 
The Mexican mining and metals production index in November improved 2.3 percent, month­-on-month, but dropped 3.4 percent, year­-on-­year.
 
Inegi said accumulated iron pellet production in the 11-month period from January to November fell 8.3 percent year­-on-­year.
