Malaysia terminates rebar AD probe for China and South Korea

The Malaysian government has announced that it has decided to terminate the antidumping (AD) duty investigation regarding rebar imports from China and South Korea.
 
No material injury has been found to the Malaysian domestic industry that can be reasonably linked to the import of the products in question.
 
The investigation was launched in September 2014 upon the application by domestic steel producer Ann Joo Steel Berhad.
 
The products in question currently fall under the Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7214.20.210, 7214.20.290, 7214.20.910, 7214.20.990, 7228.10.100, 7228.10.900, 7228.20.100, 7228.20.900, 7228.30.100, 7228.30.900, 7228.40.100, 7228.40.900, 7228.500.100, 7228.50.900, 7228.60.100, and 7228.60.900.
