MAIR to raise scrap processing 17 percent in 2006

MAIR, the largest scrap processor in Russia, intends to raise the total volume of scrap processing 17 percent to 2.7 million tons in 2006. Earlier, the company announced the target level of scrap processing at 2.5 million tons. ’Now we have more optimistic prognosis, since the scrap market has stabilized', commented Mr. Makushin, the president of MAIR.
