Ma Steel announces strong production in May

SteelOrbis Shanghai Anhui province based Ma Steel announced that the company broke its monthly production records in May. In May, the steelmaker produced 796,000 metric tons iron, 913,000 metric tons crude steel, and 848,000 metric tons finished steel. All these figures mark the highest monthly production for the company, which are respectively 26,000 metric tons, 57,000 metric tons and 38,000 metric tons higher than the planned quantities. Meanwhile, cold rolled coil production of the mill reached 140,000 mt, exceeding the planned capacity of 127,300 metric tons. The mill has performed such a strong production in order to meet the export orders mainly.
