Liuzhou Steel plans to relocate to coastal area

Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region-based Chinese steelmaker Liuzhou Iron and Steel Co. (Liuzhou Steel) has announced that it plans to relocate to the coastal area of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, where it will build a new steel production base to replace its current capacity. Accordingly, Liuzhou Steel plans to gradually replace its current 10.75 million mt of iron smelting capacity and 14.80 million mt of crude steel capacity with 10.68 million mt of iron smelting capacity and 14.70 million mt of crude steel capacity at its coastal production base.
