LianYuan Steel adjusts ex-factory prices

On September 29, Hunan Province-based LianYuan Steel adjusted its ex-factory prices for some products. The details are as follows:

The producer's ex-factory prices of HR decreased RMB 80/mt ($11). As a result, the new price of 2.75 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 4,500/mt ($599), while that of 5.5 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 4,330/mt ($577).

The ex-factory prices of CR, HDG and Full Hard remain unchanged.

The ex-factory prices of hot rolled strip decreased RMB 30/mt ($4). Thus, the new price of 183 x 2.75 mm Q235 hot rolled strip is RMB 4,100/mt ($546).

The ex-factory prices of equal angles increased RMB 50/mt ($7). The new price of Q235 7.5# equal angles is RMB 3,990/mt ($531).

The above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of September 29, 2007.
