Laiyang Yongfeng Steel announces sharp price cut for rebar

The new rebar price announced today, September 1, by Laiyang Yongfeng Iron and Steel Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of Laiyang Iron and Steel Group, shows a drop of RMB 200/mt compared to the producer's price list issued on August 19.

The producer's new price for HRB 335 rebar of 16-25 mm thickness is RMB 4,840/mt ex-works for in-stock materials, with an additional surcharge of RMB 150/mt for class three steel of the same specification. The abovementioned price is on theoretical weight basis, including VAT, and effective as of September 1.
