Korea to host IISI Annual Conferences in 2005

Korea will host the 39th IISI (International Iron and Steel Institute) Annual Conferences in October 2005. This will be the second time Seoul hosts the conferences. The first was in 1988. As reported by SteelOrbis, the 38th IISI Annual Conferences were held in Istanbul, Turkey on October 3-6, 2004. Turkey's Erdemir Group hosted the event. It is stated that the Korea Iron and Steel Association and the South Korean steel producers POSCO, Dongkuk Steel Mills (DSM) and INI Steel will sponsor the conferences in October 2005.
