Khouzestan Steel’s crude steel output rises by nine percent

Iranian steelmaker Khouzestan Steel produced 2,565,000 mt of crude steel in the last Iranian year (ended March 20), up nine percent compared to 2,355,000 mt in the previous year - according to the newly published figures from the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).  

Khouzestan Steel has raised its nominal crude steel production capacity to 3.2 million mt per year since the completion of development plans in early 2009.
