KGOK to increase output in current year

Kachkanarskiy GOK (KGOK), an iron ore mining subsidiary of Russian iron ore and steel producer Evraz Group, has announced that in the current year it plans to increase production of agglomerate and pellets by 2.5 percent year on year to 9.7 million mt. In 2011, KGOK produced 54.1 million mt of iron ore, while it plans to produce around 55.2 million mt of iron ore in the current year.
