JSW Steel’s crude steel output rises by five percent in June quarter

JSW Steel, one of the largest Indian steelmakers, produced 4.12 million mt of crude steel in the first quarter ended June 30 of the financial year 2018-19, showing a growth of five percent compared to the corresponding period of the previous financial year.

According to the company's statement, in the first quarter JSW Steel produced 2.87 million mt of flat rolled products, increasing by four percent, while its long rolled product output totaled 930,000 mt, up 12 percent, both on year-on-year basis.
