Jobs in German metal manufacturing up 1.9 percent in November

In November last year, the number of jobs in the manufacturing sector in Germany increased by one percent or about 54,000 people year on year to nearly 5.4 million, according to Germany's Federal Statistical Office (Destatis).
 
In November last year, the number of jobs in German metal and metal product manufacturing increased by 1.9 percent compared to November 2014.
 
In November, an increase of 0.6 percent was recorded in the number of jobs in manufacture of fabricated metal products in Germany compared to November 2014.
