Hebei-based Chinese company Jingye Group, whose main interests are in iron and steel, the chemical sector and the hotel business, has announced that it has won a tender to supply around 90,000 mt of finished steel products for the construction of metro line 4 in the city of Nanjing in China's Jiangsu Province. The products in question mainly consist of HRB 400E rebar. Jingye Group has already commenced deliveries, supplying more than 600 mt to date.
The construction of metro line 4 in Nanjiang, expected to cost a total of RMB 20.85 billion ($3.2867), will continue for three years from June 2012 to June 2015.
