Jindal Steel to build iron ore processing plant in Cameroon

India-based Jindal Steel & Power Limited (JSPL) will invest $500 million to build a power plant, a railway line and an iron ore processing plant in Cameroon, according to media reports.

The company will build a 500 MW power plant in the town of Limbe in the southwestern region of the country, while the iron ore processing plant will be located in the town of Kribi which also has a deep-water port.

The details of the investment timeline have not been revealed.
