Japan’s iron ore imports in H1 2018 on par with last year

According to Japanese customs data, Japan has imported 62.92 million mt of iron ore in H1 2018, down only 0.25 million mt compared to H1 2017. The smaller lower difference of 0.4 percent keeps the import level on par year-on-year for the same period.
