Japanese domestic auto sales see 28.3 percent rise in October

On November 1, the Japan Automobile Dealers Association (JADA) posted Japan's auto sales results for October.
 
In the Japanese domestic auto market, sales of vehicles (including cars, trucks and buses, but excluding mini cars with engine displacements of less than 660 cc) jumped to 247,927 units in October, with a 28.3 percent rise on a year-on-year basis. Of this volume, sales of passenger cars rose by 28.3 percent year on year to 220,271 units, while sales of commercial vehicles increased by 28.4 percent to 26,922 units.
