Ispat Group shows concern for Bosnia steel industry

According to recent market reports, Indian steel producer Ispat Group is planning to make investment in the Bosnia-Herzegovina steel industry. The company is in negotiation with some metal companies. Ispat officials stated that the company shows concern for Ljubija coal mine, Lukavac coke facilities and the limestone mine in Doboj. With this investment, Ispat aims to expand production at BH Steel and revive production at Lukavac coke facilities, iron ore mine in Omarska and limestone mine in Doboj.
