Iranian coal concentrate output declines by 10 percent

Iran produced 1,155,000 mt of coal concentrate in the last Iranian year (ended March 20), down 10 percent on the output of 1,266,000 mt in the previous Iranian year - according to the newly published statistics from the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).

In addition, Iran exploited 1,791,000 mt of run-of-mine coal in the last Iranian year, representing a decrease of 35 percent compared to 2,425,000 mt in the year before, the same source stated.
