Investment of RMB 255 billion to be completed in Shanghai in 2026

In 2026, a total investment of RMB 255 billion ($36.7 billion) will be completed in China’s Shanghai city.

Shanghai will commence the construction on the northern extension of the Jiamin Line rail transit, while it will accelerate the building of the Chongming Line, the Shanghai Demonstration Zone Line, the Nanfeng Line, and the eastern extension of metro Line 13, Line 19, Line 20, Line 21, and Line 23.
