India’s IFGL Refractories Limited acquires UK’s Sheffield Refractories

India’s IFGL Refractories Limited has acquired a 100 percent shareholding in Sheffield Refractories Limited (SRL), UK, a company statement said on Monday, February 27.

It said that the acquisition was completed through IFGL’s wholly-owned UK-based subsidiary Monocon International Refractories Limited.

SRL is a manufacturer and installer of monolithic refractory products, specifically for blast furnace cast house products, shotcreting materials and a range of monolithic products for the iron and steel, cement, incinerator and waste energy industries.

Apart from India, IFGL operates production facilities in China, Germany, UK and USA.
