India's high grade iron ore exports

India's high grade iron ore exports amounted to 12.38 million metric tons during the first ten months of 2005/2006 fiscal year. India's Commerce Minister Kamal Nath said the government granted permission to 17 companies for high grade iron ore export having over 64 percent iron content during 2005/2006, for a total quantity of 7.18 million metric tons.
