India initiated 185 AD cases so far

The government of India announced today that it has initiated antidumping investigations into 185 cases involving 35 countries/territories (considering 25 EC countries as a single territory). The major product categories subject to these antidumping duties have been from industries including chemicals & petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, fibres/yarns, steel and other metals, and consumer goods. The government announced that 95 antidumping measures are in force for the moment. India's Directorate General of Anti-Dumping & Allied Duties (DGAD) has initiated 8 antidumping investigations from the beginning of 2005 fiscal year.
