It is reported that Ukrainian steelmaker Ilyich Iron and Steel Works of Mariupol, a subsidiary of Ukrainian steel group Metinvest, has halted operations at its blast furnace No. 2 due to a breakdown at the furnace.
The breakdown may result in reduced output of finished products as the company will not be able to increase smelting at other blast furnaces.
