Huta Sendzimira plate mill to start modernization process

According to latest reports from the industry, Huta Sendzimira, Polish steel producer and member of Polsky Huty Stali (PHS) is in preparations to start the modernization of its plate mill, having received the approval from the EU. This modernization project is valued around Plz 800million. Most of this amount will be financed by banks and currently the plant is in negotiatios with interested foreign banks. The final decision will be based on the budget guarantees granted by the government which are currently tried to be increased up to 60% by the Ministry of Economy together with the plant.
