Hebei Province exceeds backward capacity elimination targets for 2010

According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of China's Hebei Province, the targets for the elimination of backward production capacities in Hebei in 2010 have been exceeded. A total of 163 enterprises in Hebei Province, covering 10 industries, have dismantled all their backward production capacities in the current year.

The elimination targets for 2010 were exceeded in sectors such as electricity supply, iron and steel making, coke production, cement productions, and others.
