Gross steel industry revenues in Shandong up 3.7 percent in 2010

According to the authorities in China's Shandong Province, the gross revenues of the steel industry in the province in 2010 amounted to RMB 385.8 billion ($58.6 billion), up 3.7 percent year on year.
 
In addition, in 2010, the coal industry in Shandong Province registered gross revenues of RMB 225.3 billion ($34.24 billion), up 41.7 percent year on year, the machinery industry in the province (excluding the automobile industry) achieved gross revenues of RMB 462.1 billion ($70.23 billion), up 40.2 percent year on year, while the automobile industry in the province recorded gross revenues of RMB 172.4 billion ($26.2 billion), up 60 percent year on year.
