Heavy truck sales in China increase by 14 percent in January-April

In April this year, heavy truck sales in China amounted to 121,000 units, up 16.0 percent year on year, constituting the highest-ever April volume, according to the data issued by cvworld.cn, a Chinese auto industry information service provider. In the January-April period of the year, heavy truck sales in China totaled 444,000 units, increasing by 14.0 percent year on year.

The launch of infrastructure projects and strong sales of cement trucks, mixing trucks and dumper trucks are considered to have contributed to the rise in heavy truck sales in April.
