Handan Iron and Steel Co. (Handan Steel), a subsidiary of Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Group Co. (Hebei Steel), has won a tender for steel plate to be used in state-owned China Datang Co.’s wind power projects in Pinglu, Shanxi Province and Limin, Shanxi Province, as announced by Hebei Steel. Production has already commenced on the first batch of 12,500 mt of Q345E steel plate.
