Handan Steel exports CR steel products to South America

According to Chinese steel giant Hebei Steel Group, in the current year up to May 6 its Hebei Province-based subsidiary Handan Iron and Steel Co. (Handan Steel) delivered a total of 8,000 mt of SAE 1008 cold rolled steel sheets from its western district facility to South America. The products in question, which conform to US standard ASTMA 568M-09a, have a thickness range of 0.6-1.5 mm and width of 1,200 mm, and are mainly used for manufacturing small household appliances.
 
The western district facility of Handan Steel has a 2,250 mm continuous hot rolling line, a 2,180 mm continuous cold rolling line and other auxiliary equipment. The main products include high value-added steel products such as line pipe, auto sheet and sheet used in the manufacture of household appliances.
