Sweden-based H2 Green Steel has announced that it has signed a seven-year agreement that exceeds a value of €250 million with German cold rolled steel strip producer Bilstein Group to supply low-carbon steel.

The deliveries are planned to start in 2026 from H2 Green Steel’s Boden plant.

The companies also intend to work together to develop steel grades, share best practices on reducing the carbon footprint, and develop a circular model to take back scrap from Bilstein’s production sites to be recycled in H2 Green Steel’s operations.
