Germany-based flange manufacturer Flanschenwerk Bebitz has announced that it has ordered a new drawn steel center of type BC 120 from German plantmaker SMS Meer.

According to the company statement, the plant peels, straightens and tests special-steel round bars of various grades. The plant will have a peeling speed of up to 40 m/min and therefore offer around 30 percent more productivity than conventional plants.

Bebitz also stated that with the new plant they expect to gain maximum product quality.
