German ThyssenKrupp content with new exclusions

Germany's ThyssenKrupp Steel AG has obtained exemptions covering a total of 88'600 tons of steel under the scope of the second round S201 exclusion reviews. Among the total of 295 products excluded from the S201 tariffs, this volume granted to ThyssenKrupp covers the company's core business with the US automotive industry, to which it supplies high grade coated sheet. A total of 40 requests were submitted by the TKS customers for product exclusions in December 2002, equaling to almost 185'000 tons.
