German iron ore import prices up 17.8 percent in June

According to a report released by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in June this year the import price of iron ore in Germany increased by 17.8 percent year on year and was down 21.4 percent month on month. 

In June, the average import price of iron and steel and ferroalloys in Germany increased by 19.4 percent year on year and was down 1.5 percent as compared to May.

Meanwhile, in June this year the import price of nickel increased by 1.3 percent compared to the same month last year and fell by 3.1 percent month on month.
