German iron ore import prices up 21.9 percent in October

According to a report released by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in October this year the import price of iron ore in Germany increased by 21.9 percent year on year and was up 5.2 percent month on month. 

In October, the average import price of iron and steel and ferroalloys in Germany increased by 18.9 percent year on year and was up 0.9 percent as compared to September.

Meanwhile, in October this year the import price of nickel increased by 2.5 percent compared to the same month last year and increased by 1.5 percent month on month.
