German iron ore import prices up five percent in Dec from Nov

According to a report released by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in December last year the import price of iron ore in Germany increased by five percent month on month and was up 16.2 percent year on year.

In December, the average import price of pig iron and ferroalloys in Germany increased by 1.9 percent compared to the previous month and rose by 0.4 percent year on year.
