In April of the current year, the foundry-rolling complex of Russian pipe producing company United Metallurgical Company (OMK), produced 102,000 mt of hot rolled coil, up 23.3 percent compared to April 2010. Also in the given period, the foundry-rolling complex of OMK produced 5,500 mt of sheets and 19,300 mt of strips. In April this year, the foundry-rolling complex of OMK shipped 86,100 mt of steel products.
In the January-April period of the current year, the complex produced 362,300 mt of hot rolled coils, up 19,6 percent compared to the same period last year, while it also produced 58,600 mt of sheet and 84,600 mt of strips. In the given period, the complex shipped 344,000 mt of hot rolled coil, sheet and strip, up 13.7 percent year on year.
