Finished steel output of Iran’s state-owned mills rises by 23 percent

Iranian state-owned steel plants produced 942,500 mt of finished products in the first month (21.03-20.04.2010) of the current Iranian year, representing an increase of 23 percent compared to the same month of the last Iranian year, according to the newly published figures from the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
 
In addition, in the same month, Iran's state-owned steel plants produced 1,001,595 mt of semi-finished steel, up five percent year on year.
