Final results of AD review on SSSS in coils from Taiwan
On August 9, 2004, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) published preliminary results of the administrative review of the antidumping duty order on stainless steel sheet and strip in coils imported from Taiwan. The period of review was July 1, 2002, through June 30, 2003. The DOC preliminarily decided to rescind the review with respect to Ta Chen, Chain Chon, Tung Mung and China Steel since there was sufficient evidence that the producers made no shipments of subject merchandise during the period of review. Interested parties were requested to comment on these preliminary results. After analyzing the comments, the DOC decided to make changes to the margin calculations for two respondents, namely Chia Far Industry Factory Co, Ltd and Yieh United Steel Corporation (YUSCO). Therefore, final results of the review differ from the preliminary results of the review. The final weighted-average dumping margins for imports from the two Taiwanese producers are as follows:Manufacturer/exporter Margin Yieh United Steel Corporation (YUSCO)............1.92% Chia Far Industrial Factory Co, Ltd (Chia Far)...1.10%
