Ferriera Valsabbia sees improvement in 2010

Italian steel billet, rebar and wire mesh producer Ferriera Valsabbia has announced its financial results for 2010.

Accordingly, in 2010 Ferriera Valsabbia achieved a turnover of €195 million, unchanged year on year. The year in question closed with a net loss of €8 million, a significant improvement from the net loss of €16 million recorded in the previous year.

In 2010 Ferriera Valsabbia made investments worth €8 million, especially in the upgrading of equipment and in a new waste gas system at its electric furnace, with important benefits for the environment and workers' health.
