Explosion at US Steel coking plant injures 16

An explosion at a US Steel coking facility outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday injured 16 employees.  Five of those admitted to area hospitals are listed as being in critical condition.  At the current time, no fatalities have been reported.

According to a report by PittsburghLive.com, the explosion bent heavy steel beams and blew out block walls, sending debris more than 100 yards.  

The incident is currently being investigated by the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).  The cause for the explosion has not yet been determined.
