Evraz rebrands Russian and Ukrainian subsidiaries

The Russian mining and steel producing company Evraz Group has announced that it has renamed a number of its Russian and Ukrainian enterprises, with ‘Evraz' being added before the existing names of the said enterprises.

Accordingly, the following new legal names have been approved for Evraz's Russian subsidiaries: OАО Evraz Vysokogorsk ore-dressing plant (Evraz VGOK); ОАО Evraz Kachkanar ore-dressing plant  (Evraz KGOK); OАО Evraz Nakhodka Marine Trade Port (Evraz NMTP); ОАО Evraz Consolidated West-Siberian metallurgical plant  (Evraz ZSMK), which will be joined by NKMK and MNLS; and Evraz Nizhny Tagil metallurgical plant (Evraz NTMK), which will be joined by ZTBD and MNLZ-4.

Meanwhile,  the following new legal names were approved for Evraz's Ukrainian subsidiaries: public joint stock company Evraz Bagleykoks  (Evraz Bagleykoks);  public joint stock company Evraz Dneprodzerzhinsk coke and chemical plant (Evraz DKHZ); public joint stock company Evraz Sukha Balka (Evraz Sukha Balka); public joint stock company Evraz - DMZ Petrovskogo  (Evraz - DMZ Petrovskogo), with ОАО Dneprokoks to join its  structure.

Last year Evraz accomplished the rebranding of its foreign assets.

"Rebranding is a part of Evraz's global strategy, focused on the consolidation of the company's assets under the unique and well-renown Evraz brand which will support further strengthening of the sites' positions in international and local markets," Evraz VP for corporate communications Oleg Kuzmin said.
