Evraz expands presence in Brazil

Russian mining and steel producing company Evraz Group has announced that it has signed a rail delivery contract with a major South American railway operator Rumo ALL to supply over 23,000 mt of head-hardened rails. The first lot of 5,000 mt is planned to be shipped in March this year from its subsidiary Evraz ZSMK.

Rumo ALL owns more than 10,000 kilometers of track in Brazil, several ports with aggregate capacity of 19 million mt, 996 locomotives and 28,000 of railcars.
