On February 22, the European Commission (EC) announced the initiation of a countervailing duty (CVD) investigation regarding organic coated steel plate imports originating from China.
The investigation in question has been initiated following the receipt on January 9 this year of a complaint from the European Steel Association (EUROFER).
The HS codes of the products in question are ex72107080, ex72124080, ex72259900 and ex72269970.
In December last year, the EU had launched an antidumping (AD) investigation on organic coated steel plate originating in China.
