EU increases steel quota allocated to Russia, following the expansion

In line with the recent statement made by European Union (EU), Russia is allowed to export additional 438'216 tons of flat and long steel products to EU in 2004, following the expansion of EU. As previously reported by SteelOrbis, Russia was allowed to export 1.38 million tons of steel products to EU under the scope of the agreement signed in July 2002. Now, 438'216 tons is added to this quota.
